We are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer to work on the banking project. This is a consulting job and the client is one of the major banks.
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Toronto
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain Python automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
Test RESTful APIs using Postman and validate JSON responses.
Execute SQL queries to verify backend data accuracy and ETL batch processes.
Log defects, conduct regression testing, and support CI/CD pipeline runs.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in QA and test automation.
Solid Python scripting skills for test automation.
Ability to write SQL queries for data verification.
Hands-on REST API testing experience with Postman .
Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Familiarity with Agile, Jira, Git, or CI/CD pipelines as an asset.
