Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Professional PSW (Personal Support Worker) / Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice environments, and private homes. Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote dignity and independence
Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and heavy lifting as required
Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary
Maintain a clean and protected environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and sanitation of living areas
Monitor health status by observing changes in condition,



reporting concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation for clients with dementia or disabilities

Skills
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments
Solid patient care skills with an understanding of senior care, hospice care, dementia care, and disability support
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while assisting clients with mobility challenges
Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities
Competence in meal preparation tailored to specific dietary needs
Familiarity with cleaning routines necessary for maintaining hygienic living spaces
