Caffe Fantastico is a local family-owned company, with three licensed bustling locations in Victoria. We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Production Baker / Pastry Assistant, at our Quadra Village Roastery location as a main base and willingness to work at all locations.

Reporting to, and working with our talented Pastry Chef, this position is responsible for daily production and bake-off of house staples, as well as contribute to prep in our our growing pastry and dessert program.

This is a part-time position to start, 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) with room to grow.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in commercial baking production, an ability to follow detailed recipes / instructions and can respond positively to feedback and assessment. As a first in office, punctuality and reliability are important as are personal organization and excellent time management skills.





Primary Responsibilities
Prepare from scratch all in-house baking, following established recipes
Bake off fresh daily baking in line with par levels
Prep for pastry and dessert menu, following prep list set by Pastry Chef

Knowledge and Skills required
Must be self-motivated, ability to work independently and apart of our team
Proven baking and kitchen experience
Great communication skills
