Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role offers an excellent chance to develop skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety within a sit-down restaurant setting.

Duties
Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to recipes and standards
Cook pizzas and other menu items in a wood burning oven, using appropriate kitchen equipment
Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature, meeting or exceeding AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) standards for taste, preparation and presentation
Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas
Assist with food handling, meal preparation, and food service tasks as needed
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working workplace
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as necessary




Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service

Experience
Previous experience in Neapolitan Style Pizza cooking in wood-fired oven is required;
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is desirable
Familiarity with serving customers and working in a fast-paced workplace is beneficial
