AspengroveSchool is seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and team-oriented Educational Assistant (EA) to join our Junior School teamfor the upcoming school year. In thisvital role, you will work closely with classroom teachers and our learning support team toprovide tailored academic, social, andemotional guidance to students with diverse learning needs. Schedule of Employment
School days: Monday to Friday8:00am-4:00pm
School closures when Out ofSchool Care is offered: 8:15am-4:15pm.

Compensation
Range dependent on experienceand education$48,000 to $55,000

EA Responsibilities




Work closely with the Principal and Vice Principal of the JuniorSchool and the Primary Years Programteachers to support students in their classes
Academic, behavioral andemotional support of PYP students
Facilitate 1:1 and small group academicsupport to students
Organize materials andresources related to student needs
Playground supervision
Out Of School Care duringconferences and Pro D days

Qualifications
A valid EA certificate or Diploma
Legally allowed to work inCanada

Desiredpersonal qualities
Versatile andadaptive with responsibilities and changes in the program
Comfortableworking alone and as part of a team
Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
Warm, caring, supportiveattitude towards children

Preferred experience andqualifications
Experience in a school age setting
Understanding and experience withdifferent learning needs
