We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist! Working as an integral part of our team corporate team you will manage payrolls and data entry for our stores, in addition to assisting our Controllers with day to day responsibilities. You must have a solid understanding of British Columbia Employment legislation

You must be available 9am-5pm PST.

A resident of British Columbia is preferred.

Your responsibilities will include:
Entering and Processing Payroll in third party Payroll Service Provider (ADP, Ceridian, QuickBooks)
Setting up New Hires in payroll system in accordance to BC employment legislation
Prepare Office Deposits
Clerical duties such as logging, filing, faxing, scanning and photocopying




Execute additional tasks and reports as needed
Data entry of weekly budgets

Requirements:
Payroll experience with Ceridian PowerPay is an asset
Microsoft Excel experience
Strong organizational skills, experience in prioritizing work and solid ability to multitask
Strong focus on detail and accuracy of work
Data entry and bookkeeping experience is required
LP1
Strong understanding of BC employment legislation, such as sick pay, statutory holidays, etc.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cobble Hill, BC
