La Maison Brie is a growing Ottawa-based charcuterie and grazing-table business specializing in beautiful food experiences for weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, and special occasions.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event & Charcuterie Assistant to join our growing team. This is a part-time, on-call position, with work primarily taking place on evenings and weekends depending on event bookings.

Responsibilities
Assist with preparing charcuterie boards, platters and grazing tables
Assist with groceries
Wash, cut and prepare fruits, vegetables and other ingredients
Assemble and package orders
Assist with grazing-table styling and setup
Load and unload food, supplies and event equipment
Assist with deliveries when required
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Assist with event breakdown and cleanup
Follow food-safety, presentation and quality standards
Provide friendly and qualified service when interacting with clients and guests

Qualifications




Reliable and punctual
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working with food
Comfortable working on your feet and lifting/carrying supplies
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Friendly, skilled and team-oriented
Available for occasional evenings and weekends
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service or events is an asset, but not required

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys creating beautiful food displays, and can help us deliver the high-quality experience La Maison Brie is known for. Compensation: $20–$23/hour depending on experience.
