We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
Assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Support patients during therapeutic exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety
Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization
Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist
Provide excellent patient care by offering encouragement, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout sessions
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses,
and progress notes
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies related to infection control and patient privacy
Schedulling appointments, fax & Scan medical documents.
Requirements
Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices
Passion for patient care with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain attention to detail
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and clinical priorities
Relevant certifications or training related to physiotherapy assistance are advantageous
