We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and assisting in pharmacy operations within a community setting.
Duties
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications including compounded medications
Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
Process medication orders and prescriptions
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Help with administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing patient records
Requirements
Previous experience or certification as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced workplace
