Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care within a community setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and previous pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
Maintain accurate inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
Process prescription orders and manage medication refills.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy area.
Document medication administration as required.

Qualifications




2-year minimum experience as a Pharmacy assistant in Ontario.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to details.
Commitment to providing high-quality service to patients and healthcare providers.
Experience with Fillware computer system is an asset.
