Parts Runner/Parts Support Person

Trent Valley Honda is currently undergoing renovations, and we’re seeking a reliable, energetic, and safety-minded Parts Runner to join our team for a 3-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.

This is an active, hands-on role that will be an important part of keeping our Parts Department, and retail customers moving efficiently during our renovation. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being busy, helping others and staying active.

What You'll Do
Receive parts requisitions from the Parts Department and Service Technicians.
Safely operate a 250 Sprinter Van on dealership property to retrieve and transport parts between the Parts Department/trailers and the dealership.
Assist with loading and unloading parts and verify parts against requisitions before delivery.
Help keep parts organized and ensure items are returned to the appropriate location.
Communicate with the Parts and Service teams regarding missing, delayed, or incorrect parts.
Follow all dealership safety procedures and protected lifting practices.
Assist the Parts team with other duties as required.

Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in an active, fast-paced environment.
Comfortable operating a larger vehicle
A strong communicator and team player.
Able to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision.
Customer-focused and professional.
Comfortable working outdoors and moving between different areas of the dealership

Requirements
Minimum G2 driver's licence with a clean and acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate a 250 Sprinter Van on dealership property.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Previous automotive, parts, warehouse, delivery, or dealership experience is an asset.

What We Offer
Full-time, 3-month contract with potential for extension.
Consistent Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.
Wage Rate: 19.00 per hour
