Description:

Reporting to the Assistant Manager - Nautical Activities, the Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing programs, preparing schedules, and ensuring both the quality and safety of the equipment and premises.

Departmental mission:

The mission of the Culture, Sports, Leisure and Community Development Department is to improve quality of life by promoting accessibility, participation, and integration of all citizens through the provision of excellent community, cultural, sports and recreational facilities, activities, and services.

General responsibilities and goals:

The jobholder’s main responsibilities are as follows:

- Prepares programming and schedules, including the logistics for the activities assigned to them
- Ensure the smooth running of activities




- Ensure the quality and safety of equipment and facilities
- Ensures daily communication with members and staff
- Guide, mentor, and evaluate employees assigned to their activities
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management
- Provide citizens with information about programs and services offered
- Assists and collaborates in various committees and association meetings related to your duties
- Generate reports
- Participate in emergency measures as needed
- Perform all other related tasks, as required

Job requirements:

- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one to two years of experience;
- Bilingualism (French and English spoken and written);
- “Canoe Kids” Certification;
- A valid standard first aid certificate;
- Pleasure craft Operators Card

Schedule: 35 hours per week – August to October 2026 ( 9 weeks)

The schedule will depend on the trainings, the competitions and club activities.
