As the organization continues to grow, they are looking for a strong supply chain professional who can bring structure, ownership, and proactive problem-solving to purchasing, inventory, materials, and supplier management.

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Coordinator to own the day-to-day flow of materials and components required to keep production moving.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will manage purchasing, inventory, supplier relationships, production material requirements, shipping and receiving, while playing a key role in maintaining accurate and reliable supply chain data within NetSuite.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that supply chain in a growing manufacturer doesn't always fit neatly into one box. You may be negotiating with a supplier in the morning, solving a material shortage before lunch, and working with production to get ahead of next week's build schedule in the afternoon.

If you're organized, proactive, comfortable owning your function, and good at solving problems before they become production problems, you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management

- Manage day-to-day purchasing and create and maintain purchase orders within NetSuite
- Source components and materials, with a focus on competitive pricing, quality, availability, and lead times
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and purchasing terms where appropriate
- Proactively manage shortages, backorders, expedites, and long-lead items




- Identify alternative and secondary suppliers for critical components to reduce supply risk

Inventory & Materials Management

- Maintain accurate inventory records within NetSuite
- Coordinate cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and physical inventory activities
- Establish and monitor reorder points and inventory levels
- Support receiving, put-away, material organization, and production kitting
- Help reduce excess and obsolete inventory while preventing shortages of critical components
- Maintain clean and reliable inventory data the broader team can trust

Production Planning & Support

- Work closely with production and engineering to align material availability with build schedules
- Support work orders and material requirements within NetSuite
- Track custom components, fabrications, and long-lead materials
- Identify potential material constraints before they impact production
- Respond quickly to shortages and changing production priorities
- Support new product introductions and custom equipment builds from a materials perspective

Logistics, Shipping & Receiving

- Coordinate inbound shipments and outbound equipment, components, and spare parts
- Work with carriers and freight partners to support cost-effective and timely deliveries
- Prepare and maintain required shipping documentation
- Support cross-border shipments and customer delivery timelines
- Assist with receiving and warehouse activities as required

NetSuite & Process Improvement

- Act as a key user of NetSuite across purchasing, inventory, order management, and related manufacturing functions
- Maintain item masters, vendor records, pricing, and related supply chain data
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards related to inventory, open purchase orders, shortages, and supplier performance
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory, and materials processes
- Work cross-functionally with operations,



engineering, production, sales, and finance to improve visibility and planning

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory, materials, or a related role
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience working with an ERP system; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred
- Experience supporting purchasing, inventory management, supplier relationships, and production requirements
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with operational data and reporting
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator who is comfortable working directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, growing organization
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a high degree of independence
- Comfortable working within both an office and warehouse/production environment as required

Nice to Have

- Experience within equipment, machinery, or discrete manufacturing
- Experience supporting custom, engineered-to-order, or low-volume/high-mix production
- Knowledge of North American industrial component suppliers
- Exposure to incoming inspection, non-conformances, or other basic quality processes
- Experience with Canadian/U.S. shipping and cross-border logistics
