Duties
Safely operate your own truck to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal truck performance and safety standards
Manage freight documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logs for accurate record-keeping
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients,



and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing commercial vehicle operation

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading/unloading freight
Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues on the road
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Robust communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively
Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to freight handling
