Stantec is seeking a Geotechnical Field Technician in Ottawa to champion safety and quality. Engage in fieldwork and lab testing that supports sustainable development initiatives. In this energetic role, you will carry out critical field and laboratory monitoring for the Geotechnical and Materials Engineering department.

Expect to perform inspections, collect data, and handle various testing methods while collaborating closely with engineers and technical staff. Your work will be vital for project success and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Travel to and collect samples at job sites
Oversee drill and test pit inspections
Conduct field and lab testing on materials
Maintain testing equipment accuracy and conditions
Input data into laboratory software for reporting Requirements:
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology desirable
Required CCIL/CSA certification for concrete testing
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and personal vehicle
Willingness for extensive fieldwork commitments
