Mechanical Inspector or Aerospace precision components.
Responsibilities include
Perform mechanical and visual inspection of machined parts using various inspection tools.
Perform operation first-off and in-process inspection.
Programming and operation of CMM
Review and interpret detailed drawings.
Verification of certification documents.
Prepare and complete inspection reports.
Perform calibration of various inspection tools.
Perform First article inspection as per AS9102 requirements.
Experience desired
Has worked with aerospace parts, drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of GD&T;
Knowledge and experience of inspection tools (Height gage, indicators, micrometers)
Knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience using a CMM
