About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Finance to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with the development and implementation of strategic financial plans that align with the company's overall strategy. This includes overseeing all financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for managing relationships with financial service providers, providing strategic recommendations to the executive team, and overseeing the company's investment portfolio. A key aspect of the role is to provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, and to collaborate with the executive leadership team to set company-wide strategy and objectives.





Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. An active CPA license is required, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial managerial position, ideally in the real estate sector. The role demands a solid financial and accounting background, including expertise in profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow management. The candidate must be bilingual in English and French, have experience with financial reporting standards and regulations, and possess exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. A high level of integrity, the ability to build and maintain relationships, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software are also essential.
