Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, caring and experienced Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper to support a private household in Brampton consisting of a mother and her 9-year-old daughter.

The successful candidate will provide responsible childcare while assisting with the daily organization and upkeep of the household. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, organized, dependable and interested in a stable, long-term employment relationship.

Responsibilities
Provide attentive and responsible care for a 9-year-old child.
Support the child's daily routine, including supervision and age-appropriate activities.
Assist with homework and school-related routines where required.
Prepare meals and snacks for the child and household.
Perform general household cleaning and organization.
Complete laundry, folding and related household tasks.
Maintain bedrooms, common areas, kitchen and other household spaces in a clean and organized condition.
Assist with meal planning and routine grocery or household-supply organization as required.
Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment.
Perform other reasonable household duties related to the position.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a nanny, caregiver, housekeeper or in a similar private-household role is preferred.




Experience caring for school-aged children is preferred.
Strong housekeeping, cleaning and organizational skills.
Ability to prepare home-cooked meals.
Experience preparing Indian/South Asian cuisine is preferred and considered an asset.
Hindi language proficiency is preferred and considered an asset, but is not mandatory.
Reliable, responsible and trustworthy.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage daily household priorities.
Valid employment references.
First Aid/CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it.
Successful completion of appropriate background screening may be required prior to employment.

Position Details
Position: Full time Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper
Location: Brampton, Ontario
Work Arrangement: Live-in; private accommodation provided
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: To be confirmed in the written employment terms
Days Off: To be confirmed
Compensation: To be confirmed in accordance with applicable Ontario employment standards

Pay: Up to $2,200.00 per month
