Job Overview The Barrel Thief is seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety standards




Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items

Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude
Serving experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Food industry knowledge including meal preparation and food safety regulations
