Duties
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, doors, windows, and other building components
Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of facilities and equipment
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently
Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations when necessary

Qualifications




Proven experience in general maintenance or repair work within commercial or industrial settings
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building safety protocols
Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Valid driver’s license preferred; certification in relevant trades (e.g., electrical or plumbing) is a plus
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment with attention to detail and quality workmanship
Applicant must hold the Permanent Residence in Canada.
