Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality specifications
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor, texture, and presentation of dishes
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and exceptional food quality during busy hours




Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and maintaining hygiene standards
Support the overall kitchen operations by restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to follow recipes accurately and execute meal preparation efficiently
Excellent understanding of serving protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
Valuable communication skills to work effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
