Beacon Social House is hiring!

We are looking for a Line Cook to join our team and help prepare meals in our busy kitchen. The ideal candidate will have experience in a qualified kitchen setting, be able to work quickly and efficiently, and have a passion for cooking.

The Line

Cook will be responsible for following recipes, prepping ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards. This is a great prospect for an experienced cook to hone their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Prepare ingredients for use in cooking.
Cook food according to recipes and presentation specifications.
Monitor food quality while preparing food.




Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate
Oakville, ON L6J 1J3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Food Handler Certification (preferred)
Food Secure, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
