Job Summary
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your compassionate patient care and clinical expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse patient populations. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality nursing services across various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, home care, and assisted living communities. Duties
Deliver comprehensive patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities.
Support patients with dementia, senior care, hospice needs, pediatrics, and acute conditions through personalized nursing interventions.
Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, laboratory specimen collection, and wound care with precision and professionalism.
Utilize electronic health record systems like Epic and Cerner to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Educate patients and families on medication regimens, disease management, and health promotion strategies.
Assist in case management activities by coordinating care plans and communicating with healthcare providers.
Maintain a safe workplace by adhering to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification.
Prior experience in nursing home settings, hospitals, or acute care environments is highly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in medication administration, pain management, and medical terminology.
Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, children, and hospice patients.
Skills in phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, and medical office operations are advantageous.
Familiarity with electronic health records such as Epic or Cerner is desirable.
Solid communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care are essential for success in this role.
