This role requires robust clinical knowledge and involves care assessments, planning, and documentation. Collaborate with an inter-professional team to facilitate resident care and education effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Complete clinical assessments and manage care plans
Administer medications and document care accurately
Coordinate care assignments for nursing teams
Teach and direct unregulated care providers
Respond to medical emergencies and significant resident changes Requirements:
Current LPN registration in your province
Experience in gerontology or long-term care preferred
Solid communication and critical thinking skills
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Utilize your nursing skills to positively impact the lives of residents at Extendicare.
