Buller Crichton Environmental (BCE) is seeking a Junior Environmental Technician to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career qualified looking to build a career in environmental consulting. At BCE, you won’t be limited to one type of work. You’ll gain hands-on experience across our environmental, building hygiene and occupational hygiene services while working directly with experienced professionals.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the project, your work may include:
Indoor air quality and building hygiene assessments
Potable water and Legionella sampling programs
Asbestos and designated substances surveys
Mould and water-damage assessments
Asbestos abatement inspections and air monitoring
Occupational hygiene and exposure monitoring
Environmental sampling and operation of field equipment
Field documentation, data collection and technical reporting
Communicating with clients, contractors and project teams

As your knowledge and experience grow, so will your responsibilities. Our goal is to develop well-rounded environmental professionals who understand both the field and consulting sides of the business. What We’re Looking For A university degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health,



Building Science or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with a relevant college diploma in Environmental Technology or a related program will also be considered.

Reliable, qualified and organized
Curious and eager to learn
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Hands-on and comfortable working in field environments
A robust communicator with good written skills
Able to manage changing priorities and a variety of assignments
In possession of a valid driver’s licence and able to travel to project sites as required
