Duties
Manage and oversee all accounting activities, including ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data
Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency
Supervise finance staff,



providing mentorship and guidance to foster a high-performing team
Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee investment activities to optimize liquidity

Qualifications
3–7 years of progressive accounting experience
CPA designation or CPA in progress preferred
Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting and AP/AR
Comfortable working in a hands-on, operational accounting environment
Looking for their next step into a Controller-level position
Strong Excel/ERP skills
Someone who wants mentorship and career growth
Able to work independently but doesn't need to have previously managed a large accounting department

Pay: $150,000.00-$170,000.00 per year

Experience
Corporate finance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Chartered Qualified Accountant (preferred)
