Join the PEAK Research Team at the University of Alberta as a Program Lead in North Campus Edmonton. Oversee vital pediatric emergency studies, manage teams, and ensure budgetary compliance. In this leadership role, you will report to the Research Director and coordinate with Principal Investigators.
The Program
Lead supervises staff and manages multiple ongoing studies within the Pediatric Emergency Medicine division. You will address issues between research and clinical teams, ensuring smooth operations in a challenging workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee ongoing research studies in pediatric emergency medicine
Manage interactions with Principal Investigators and research staff
Evaluate projects for feasibility and acceptability
Supervise budgeting for upcoming research initiatives
Respond to urgent clinical research needs and events Requirements:
Experience in managing research programs and teams
Solid understanding of clinical and research settings
Ability to react flexibly to urgent situations
Knowledge of Health Canada regulations and compliance
Excellent communication and leadership skills Provide essential oversight for pediatric research, while ensuring comprehensive team support at the University of Alberta.
