We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and positive Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our team at our café in a small, welcoming community.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, takes pride in cleanliness, and is willing to help wherever needed. Kitchen experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right person.

What You’ll Do
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Keep the dishwashing area, kitchen, and workstations clean and organized.
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks.
Help with receiving, storing, and organizing ingredients.
Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards.
Take out garbage and recycling as needed.
Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Help keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy service periods.
Follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
Support the kitchen team with other duties as needed.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work well as part of a small team.
Takes cleanliness and food safety seriously.
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when required.
Good communication and respectful attitude toward coworkers.
Previous kitchen, dishwasher, or food-service experience is an asset, but not required.
