Do you enjoy staying busy and take pride in a job well done? As a Kitchen Attendant, you'll play an essential role in supporting the culinary team and helping keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service.
YOUR ROLE
Measuring ingredients and prepare the necessary food items as directed and in accordance with standards in a timely and productive fashion to ensure that there is no interruption to guest service
Receiving deliveries, ensuring they are accurate and a good quality
Perform basic cleaning duties
Keep work station clean and organized including fridges/freezers, counter tops and stove tops
Operate all kitchen equipment and conduct themselves with safety in mind at all times
Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, prepared and served safely in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety guidelines
Report any and all deficiencies in kitchen equipment functionality and quality of food products
Comply with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working setting
Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
Other task as required
YOUR PROFILE
Culinary Management diploma or similar studies an asset
Experience in areas of hotel kitchen operations is an asset
Proven ability to plan, organize and multi-task
An acute sense of time management and attention to detail
Able to lift/carry/push supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
Able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time
