Duties

- Measure clients accurately using tape measures and other tools to determine sizing needs.
- Alter garments by sewing, hemming, taking in or letting out fabric to achieve the perfect fit.
- Repair damaged clothing items with precision stitching and appropriate techniques.
- Consult with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on style and fit.
- Use sewing machines, hand tools, and pressing equipment efficiently to complete tailoring tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during operations.
- Ensure all garments meet quality standards before returning them to customers,



providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.

Qualifications

- Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating fabric needs, and adjusting patterns accurately.
- Previous experience in tailoring, sewing, or garment alteration is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude that makes clients feel valued.
- Ability to work with various fabrics and sewing techniques while paying close attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise stitching and garment adjustments.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different styles or tailoring methods as needed.
