Prince Albert Housing Authority is currently recruiting for a full time Journeyman Carpenter. If you are ambitious, experienced and skilled in the maintenance of residential buildings, this could be the job for you!

The Position
Maintenance of residential buildings
Vacant unit preparation
Day to day carpentry related work

Responsibilities and Requirements
Knowledge of the basic techniques employed in a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, and electrical
Capability to maintain a high standard of unit maintenance, including preventative and corrective maintenance of building
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with management, staff, and tenants
Ensure day to day operations are handling promptly and effectively

Qualifications
Grade 12 education,



supplemented with Journeymans status in Carpentry plus 3 years experience in a maintenance and renovations setting
Self-motivated with the ability to handle stress, while prioritizing workloads and respecting peoples diversity and individual differences
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to participate in a regular, continuous on call program for emergencies, including evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
A valid drivers license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
