About the role: KingTiger Testing is an international company that researches, designs, and manufactures computer RAM testing equipment. On the software side, our projects include tester control software as well as memory stability software operating close to bare metal. Our Canadian branch is growing and we're hiring an engineer interested in learning a specialized niche, working with AI hardware, and working alongside our R&D; teams in China.
What you'll work on
Tester control and automation software for our RAM testing hardware
Novel R&D; projects
Supporting our Linux-based AI servers used for test result analysis and tooling
Collaborating daily with Chinese R&D; via a versatile schedule (some hours will overlap with Asia time zones — we coordinate around a few core windows)
What we're looking for
Solid foundation in C++, C#,
and Python (all three in everyday use)
Comfort working on Linux servers and in terminal-driven workflows
Genuine willingness to learn. Our domain knowledge is niche and we'll teach it
Interest in hardware-adjacent and low-level software; attention to detail
Valuable communication, since much of the team is remote across time zones
Nice to have
Experience with test automation, hardware, memory systems, or embedded development
Familiarity with AI/ML tooling running on Linux servers
Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is highly desired but not a requirement
