About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Java Developer to join our dynamic technology team in Mississauga, ON. In this onsite role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend services, integrate cloud solutions, and drive up-to-date software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with product managers, QA, and frontend teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.
Write clean, effective, and well-tested code accompanied by robust unit tests (JUnit, Mockito).
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve technical debt.




Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile sprint planning sessions.
Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for smooth deployments.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 4+ years of skilled software development experience specializing in Java ecosystems.
Technical Stack:
Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices.
Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and integrating messaging queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ).
Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and container tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
