Lead transformative fundraising as the Director of Major Gifts at Stella's Place in Toronto. This hybrid position focuses on creative strategies and solid donor relationships to secure significant philanthropies.
In this senior leadership role, you'll report directly to the Chief Development Officer. You'll engage in major gift fundraising, foster impactful donor relationships, and manage development staff. Ideal candidates possess over five years of fundraising experience, a history of closing large gifts, and proven leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop major gift strategies to meet $1.5M–$2M targets
• Manage a portfolio of 100–150 major gift prospects
• Lead solicitations including complex financial gifts




• Prepare tailored proposals and correspondence
• Mentor and coach senior fundraising volunteers
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in progressive fundraising
• Proven track record closing 5 and 6-figure gifts
• Experience in team-building and managing direct reports
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Solid computer skills with online applications
