Transform power systems as a Jacobs Electrical Reliability Studies Engineer. Conduct RAM studies and enhance infrastructure resilience while working in a hybrid mode. The selected individual will focus on power-system reliability and conduct thorough studies on generation and transmission systems.
You will develop models, perform assessments, and communicate findings to both internal and external parties. Robust analytical skills are crucial for identifying improvement areas in system performance. Key Responsibilities:
Create RAM models with detailed technical specifications
Assess system reliability and identify risks to operations
Conduct contingency assessments following NERC Standards
Draft comprehensive technical reports for stakeholders
Maintain familiarity with relevant industry standards Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
At least 4 years of relevant power system experience
Proficient in ETAP or similar analysis tools
Understanding of reliability indicators and metrics
