Vitality Health Management is seeking an experienced and professional RPN with IV therapy experience to join our clinical team on a part time basis.

Responsibilities
Perform IV insertion and venipuncture
Administer IV therapy according to authorized medical orders and clinic protocols
Complete patient intake and review relevant health information prior to treatment
Monitor patients throughout IV treatments
Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation
Prepare treatment rooms and IV supplies
Follow infection prevention, medication safety and clinic policies
Communicate with physicians, nurse practitioners and other healthcare providers as required
Support inventory and IV supply management

Requirements




Current registration and valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Minimum 2 years of practical IV insertion / IV therapy experience preferred
Strong venipuncture and IV insertion skills
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong patient communication and documentation skills
Able to work independently in an outpatient clinic environment
Professional, reliable and detail-oriented

Schedule

Part-time with adaptable weekday and/or weekend availability depending on clinic appointments.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
