Make an impact at the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario as a Policy Analyst. Utilize your passion for privacy and access rights in a adaptable hybrid setting. The IPC is looking for a Policy Analyst for a 12-month contract in Toronto.

This key role focuses on analyzing the privacy landscape and engaging with diverse sectors to inform policy recommendations. You'll work independently and collaboratively to advance initiatives that protect citizen rights regarding access to information. Key Responsibilities:
Document access and privacy developments province-wide
Analyze policies related to FIPPA, MFIPPA, and CYFSA
Engage with internal and external stakeholders actively
Support key IPC projects as a team member
Develop communication materials for senior management Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of public sector privacy issues
Effective relationship-building and consultation abilities
Proven track record in policy analysis and research
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Solid project management capabilities under pressure Bring your analytical mindset and communication skills to support IPC’s mission of advancing Ontarians’ privacy rights effectively.
