Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Team Lead to inspire and guide our dynamic team toward delivering exceptional client-care experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead by example to deliver outstanding trauma-informed client care
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
- Resolve team members' concerns promptly and professionally, turning challenges into positive experiences
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards across the program facility
- Support recruitment efforts by assisting with onboarding new team members and training them on service protocols
- Support development and monitoring of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and behaviour support strategies for clients
- Ensure compliance with policies,
accreditation standards, and safety protocols
- Liaise with schools, social workers, and families; complete reports and documentation
- Provide on-call/emergency coverage as needed
Experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability or prior supervisory experience in a similar role/environment
- Strong communication and crisis intervention skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients and team members
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Degree/diploma in humanities, social sciences, or equivalent combined education and experience
- 3+ years in a similar program, including 1+ year supporting individuals with complex needs
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
- Valid Class 5 driver's license, clean abstract, and personal auto insurance ($2M third-party liability)
Pay: $25.00-$34.84 per hour
