Become the voice of science education as a STEM Specialist at Science North, located in Sudbury, Ontario. You'll lead energetic informal science programs that inspire children and communities in Northeastern Ontario.
This 18-month maternity leave replacement role focuses on creating engaging experiences for youth attending summer camps, school PA Day programs, and more. As a key player in the Education and Northern Programs team, you will also manage program marketing, volunteer recruitment, and participant registrations while ensuring safety and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engaging informal science programs for various audiences
• Promote, market, and oversee educational initiatives




• Train and support a diverse team of program deliverers
• Manage participant registrations and logistics
• Compile reports and evaluate program effectiveness
Requirements:
• Formal background in STEM or related fields
• Experience in program development and delivery
• Solid communication skills in English; French is an asset
• Valid G driver's license with a clean record
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills
