Incident Response Analyst (AI Training)

At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to develop models that understand real-world security events. You'll work with realistic incident data, alert queues, and investigation scenarios — ensuring AI-driven analysis reflects how actual response teams operate in the field.

This is a fully remote, adaptable contract role. Work on your own schedule and directly influence how frontier AI handles cybersecurity.

What You'll Do
Analyze real-world security events, alerts, and incident cases used to train AI systems
Assess impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation for simulated and real incident scenarios
Evaluate the quality of detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks
Review and critique AI-generated incident analyses to ensure they reflect genuine SOC and IR workflows
Provide structured,



expert feedback that helps AI reason like an experienced security analyst

Who You Are
2 years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
Comfortable working with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
Able to quickly distinguish meaningful threats from noise in large volumes of security data
Robust written communication skills for delivering clear, structured feedback
Self-motivated and reliable working independently in an async setting

Nice to Have
Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis
Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK; or incident response playbook design
Background in cloud security, endpoint detection, or network analysis
