Join Downtown Eastside Women's Centre as a Housing Outreach Worker in Vancouver. Help women overcome challenges by ensuring they have access to protected and secure housing. In this vital role at DEWC, you will report to the Specialized Services Manager and work directly with women facing extreme poverty.

The position demands at least two years of experience working with marginalized populations and a strong understanding of the systemic issues in the Downtown Eastside. Your advocacy will be rooted in trauma-informed care and anti-oppression frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
Support women in securing and maintaining protected housing
Conduct outreach to connect with vulnerable individuals
Keep detailed records and document interactions
Facilitate referrals to community resources and services
Uphold DEWC's mission and values in all interactions Requirements:
At least two years of related experience
Familiarity with gender-based violence and homelessness issues
Certification in First Aid and NVCI encouraged
Strong organizational and crisis management abilities
