Overview

We are a small, locally owned construction company looking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator. The majority of our work is located near Almonte and surrounding areas. Work is Monday-Friday, full time and seasonal.

The position involves operating newer, well-maintained equipment on a variety of excavation and site work projects.

Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as 25 ton excavators with rototilt, mid sized excavators with rototilt, skid steers, and backhoes with precision and safety awareness.
Excavation, grading, trenching, site clearing, site preparation, material handling, general site work, loading trucks, and other excavation and construction related work.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with loading and unloading equipment for floating.




Work well as a part of a team or independently

Qualifications
Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, skid steers, or backhoes in a commercial or residential setting.
Ability to grade accurately and work efficiently.
Valid drivers license (AZ or DZ considered an asset)
Knowledge and experience as a dump truck driver or floating equipment between sites, would be highly desirable.
Ability to inspect, maintain and care for equipment.
Robust understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and site work settings.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
