We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types of heavy equipment. This is a full time position with competitive pay and advantages.

Duties
Inspect heavy equipment to identify mechanical issues and perform diagnostic tests
Repair and maintain heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
Use power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
Weld and fabricate parts as needed
Assemble and test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functioning
Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work workplace

Skills:




Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in Heavy Equipment repair and maintenance
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and schematics
Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed
Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
