The Farmhouse Cafe at Caroline Cellars Winery is looking to fill a position for Host(ess)/Busser. This is a seasonal position suitable for mature candidates who are available during the hours of 11 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday in September and October.

This job will entail greeting and seating guests, using our electronic reservation system, assisting with bartending if you have your smart serve (wine and beer only), clearing dirty plates and glasses, washing glasses (not dishes), and other housekeeping duties.

Candidates for this position will be outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic and enjoy working with the public. Must be a team player! This could be a outstanding starting position for someone who is thinking about food and beverage serving in the future, but needs to gain experience first,



or it could be excellent for someone with experience in customer service or host(ess)/busser experience.

Requirements for this position are:
Day time availability Monday to Friday
Must be available on holidays
Smart Serve is preferred but not required.

We are looking for someone to start in this position the week of September 7th . Experience is not required, but will be considered an asset. Pay: $17.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate
Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Smart Serve (preferred)
