As a leader within Unama’ki College, you’ll foster collaborations with community Elders and develop health service programs for L’nu citizens. Your role will encompass supporting the education of Mi’kmaw health professionals and implementing community-specific health strategies. Engage directly with L’nu communities to promote health and wellness effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult with Elders and engage community in health processes
• Develop activities that reflect L’nu health practices
• Enhance health education and recruitment for Mi’kmaw students
• Collaborate with MINES for health initiatives on campus
• Provide annual reports on health initiatives
Requirements:
• Heritage of L’nu descent with community engagement
• Proven health expertise and cultural understanding
• At least an undergraduate degree in a health field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to health promotion in L’nu communities
