Enhance the Researcher Visibility and Identity services at the University of Waterloo. Take the lead in advancing digital identifier initiatives and fostering collaboration across the campus. In this temporary full time role, you will manage the sustainable operation of persistent identifiers within the Libraries.

Your responsibilities include coordinating PID projects, ensuring data integrity, and promoting effective outreach and education initiatives for different campus groups. You’ll contribute to the university’s mission by enhancing scholarly communications and open access. Key Responsibilities:
Optimize digital identifier infrastructure and services
Inform partners about project developments
Supervise workflows for PID management
Collaborate on research intelligence processes
Support training for PID adoption Requirements:
Master’s degree or significant related experience
Experience with research databases and bibliometrics
Proven project management capability
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with APIs and coding preferred Play a pivotal role in promoting research visibility and supporting academic integrity through creative leadership at Waterloo.
