We are seeking a friendly and qualified Host or Hostess to join our team at Namaste Bistro Fredericton. Located in Fredericton, this role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring smooth seating operations. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly as they arrive and manage reservations efficiently.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Maintain a clean and organized host station.
Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Manage reservation systems and waitlists.
Uphold the restaurant’s standards of guest service and hospitality.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Knowledge of reservation systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
