Inc. seeks a Functional Safety Specialist to contribute to their mission of delivering protected engineering solutions. In this role, you will engage with the Engineering team and contribute to critical functional safety projects. You will leverage your project management skills and technical knowledge to support both short and long-term goals. Key Responsibilities:
Support functional safety activities for equipment systems
Develop necessary system and software architecture documentation
Manage safety requirements and related documentation deliverables
Collaborate with design and QA teams for safety enhancements
Communicate with both internal and external project partners Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer/Systems Engineering
P.Eng. and/or Functional Safety designation preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in functional safety
In-depth knowledge of IEC 61508 and ISO 13849
