Responsibilities
Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support their independence and dignity
Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities diligently
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and secure living environment
Support residents with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury




Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to the supervising healthcare team promptly

Requirements
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly valued
Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
Medication reminder knowledge and caregiving best practices
Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for motivated applicants
Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents throughout shifts
