Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HCA/Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care and support to individuals in various settings. As an HCA/Support Worker, you will work closely with clients to promote independence, comfort, and dignity while ensuring their safety and health are prioritized at all times.

Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and hygiene.
Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, positioning, and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times.
Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities accurately.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding if needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness.




Perform light cleaning duties within clients’ living spaces to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor health status, report changes promptly, and assist with care planning.

Skills
Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly desirable.
Solid patient care skills with a genuine passion for supporting others’ well-being.
Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills to build trustful relationships with clients and team members.
Competence in medication administration and understanding of basic nursing procedures.
Flexibility to adapt to different care needs, including home care or senior care settings.
